Today's Phantom Professor features a verbatim letter from a "strait A student." Take a laugh break. Student to professor:

I am not trying to put anyone down here, but you know, for your intelligence level (not just my opinion!!!) it seems like you're trying to sound smarter than you really are. ... frankly straight forward questions make the professor sound a lot more intelligent than the one with twised questions.

Wonder if Prof. McPherson got email like that.
