Brian Downey, creator and keeper of Antietam on the Web (AotW) has started a new blog called "behind AotW - the backwash of a digital history project," and it's just what we need right now. It shapes our realm thus: we have blogs analyzing the old wine being poured into new bottles (this blog); the new wine being poured into new bottles (other ACW blogs); and now a blog (Brian's) about alternatives to bottling. Perfect.
Speaking of AotW, Brian has absorbed Tim Reese's Crampton's Gap website lock, stock, and barrel - that's a good home for it. Sensible digital consolidation.
p.s. In an earlier "new blogs" posting I made a bad link to Andy Etman's new site. Here it is corrected.
