Brewster of the US Military Academy encouraged his cadets to organize cricket clubs."If that was before the graduation of the '47 crowd, cricketers would have included A.P. Hill, Burnside, Gibbon, Heth, and Wilcox; lower classmen players might have included Buford and Gillmore.
